That’s a wrap on Term 1…

It is hard to believe that we are at the end of Term 1 for 2024. It has been a very busy term! We welcomed new staff members to our community and definitely hit the ground running with great gusto! We welcomed back familiar and new students and have had a wonderful start getting to know them. The Year 3 and 5 students and their teachers prepared for NAPLAN. The teachers engaged in professional development in the areas of -

  • High Impact Teaching Strategies - Differentiation and Feedback
  • Implementation of the new English and Mathematics syllabus’ for Years 3 - 6
  • Gifted Education

We have had sporting success in various trials and will be hosting the St MM’s cross country carnival. We have students preparing musical items for the Eisteddfod and the classrooms have been abuzz with learning that reflects quality teaching and high expectations.

Our parent helpers have been in full force with assisting in programs MultiLit and JEMM (Junior Elementary Maths Mastery)... a HUGE thank you to all of our parent volunteers this term, without you, these programs wouldn’t be able to go ahead.

Our school has been on display to show our wider community and potential enrolments what a wonderful school we are.

Wishing you all a very safe and holiday break. We look forward to seeing you for the start of Term 2.

School Uniform - Term 2

The first couple of weeks of Term 2 are generally milder in weather so there is discretion for parents as to whether you send your child in summer or winter uniform for Weeks 1 and 2. By Week 3, all students are to come to school in their full winter school and sport uniform.

The uniform days for Term 2 remain as they were in Term 1:

Monday - School uniform

Tuesday - School uniform

Wednesday - Sport uniform

Thursday - Sport uniform

Friday - School uniform
