Palm Sunday Vigil Mass
It was wonderful to see so many students and their families on Saturday night celebrating Palm Sunday Vigil Mass at St Joseph’s, for our first school/parish weekend mass this year.
A big thank you to Mrs Salmon for her organisation of the mass, Mr Pratt for the music, Fr Paddy for celebrating the mass and the students for their beautiful singing and participation.
It was such a lovely occasion and we have received so many beautiful comments about the amazing singing from our students!
Project Compassion
Thank you to all of our students and their families for the generosity you have shown throughout the season of Lent. This week we finish our fundraising for Project Compassion this year. We have managed to raise a total of $246.55. What an amazing way to share what we have with others and show compassion for all.
Holy Week Paraliturgy
The children and teachers of St Joseph's have once again worked so hard to present such an amazing Holy Week Paraliturgy today. We hope that all who came along enjoyed this very powerful and special journey, following in Jesus' footsteps in his final days.
St Joseph the Worker Feast Day
On the first Friday back next term we will be celebrating the Feast of St Joseph the Worker. This will be a mufti day, where children are asked to come dressed as a worker. We will have a whole school mass and our annual Hammer Hunt will once again be held in the afternoon. All families are welcome to join us for the mass at 9:30am in the church.
Make sure you raid those dress up boxes over the holidays and decide on what worker your child would like to dress up as!
