From the Principal

Rudy Vail

Dear OLHC Community,

As I reflect on the end of this eventful term, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the warm welcome and incredible support I have received from our students, parents and families. Joining Our Lady Help of Christians as your new principal has been a tremendous honour, and I am deeply touched by the kindness and generosity shown to me since my arrival.

Throughout this term, I have had the privilege of witnessing the vibrant spirit and dedication that make OLHC such a special place. From the enthusiasm of our students in the classrooms to the unwavering support of our parents and families, it is evident that our community is united in its commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every individual can thrive.

Being part of the numerous events and activities that have filled this term has been an absolute joy. Whether it was cheering at Twilight Sports, celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation with the Year 4 students, or coming together for special occasions such as the Prep/1 Family Dinner, each moment has been a testament to the strength and unity of our OLHC family.

As we prepare to embark on the upcoming Term break and celebrate Easter, I want to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you a safe and rejuvenating holiday. May this time be filled with moments of joy, relaxation and connection with loved ones.

Easter holds profound significance for Catholics around the world, symbolising the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the promise of new life. It is a time of reflection, renewal and hope, reminding us of the importance of faith, compassion and forgiveness in our lives.

As we gather with family and friends to celebrate Easter, let us also take time to reflect on the values it represents and how we can embody them in our daily lives. May this season be a source of inspiration and spiritual growth for each member of our OLHC community.

Once again, thank you for your unwavering support and warm welcome this term. I am truly grateful to be part of such a remarkable community, and I look forward to the many blessings and opportunities that lie ahead.

Wishing you all a blessed Easter and a restful Term break.

Kind regards
