Week 5 Lent

This Sunday celebrate the fifth Sunday of Lent.

The Gospel this week is the story of the Raising of Lazarus.

When Lazarus is brought back from the dead, he has an opportunity to live a good life, perhaps a better life than he was living.

As Lent draws to a close we too can choose to live a new life, one that is filled with looking for ways to serve others, to think about the good deeds we could do, the people we could help.

How can we use our time and our gifts to focus more on others and less on ourselves?

Prayer:

Let us pray.

Gracious God,

You want us to be faithful and humble servants.

Help us to take this opportunity to live a new life –

one that is centred around helping those in our classrooms, our playgrounds and our families.

Change our hearts so that they are open to your invitation to live a new life.

We ask this prayer in Jesus’ name.

Reconciliation

Congratulations to our Year 3 students who celebrated their First Reconciliation last night.

It was a lovely celebration for our Year 3 students. 

We would like to thank Father Andrew, Father Rojan, Year 3 Teachers, 

Mr Torpey, Mrs Snell and our families for being part of this celebration.
