Light the Way Award
Congratulations to our Light the Way winners:
Zayn for his commitment to learning and genuine curiosity, always asking questions & demonstrating a desire to learn. Zayn is a caring friend who looks out for his peers. His sense of humour brings joy to both his classmates and teachers each day. Well done Zayn - keep up the great work!
Georgina shows confidence in class by joining in discussions, asking questions, & checking her understanding when needed. She works well with her classmates and is kind and inclusive towards others. She should be proud of her learning and the positive attitude she brings to the classroom.
Aussie of the Month
Blake contributes to a welcoming and respectful school environment by demonstrating fairness, inclusion and a positive team spirit. Earlier this term Blake displayed why he is a deserving recipient of Aussie of the Month by selflessly volunteering to move from Football to the Mixed Netball Team for Interschool Sport this term. His flexibility, willingness to support others, and outstanding sportsmanship were greatly appreciated. Well done, Blake!
To wrap up this week's newsletter we thank the mothers, grandmothers and special people for attending the breakfast. We hope those Mother's Day Stall gifts brought a massive smile to your face. We congratulate the Junior Mayor contestants Emmy, Asher, Torin and Alek for their outstanding performance and for making a great speech. We congratulate the 'Aussie of the Month', Blake and the 'Light the Way' award winners, Georgina and Zayn! Today we are competing at the District Cross Country and we know our team will give their best. Last but not least we thank all of the mothers that make our school community better whether that is cheering on the side lines, or greeting your child with a hug at the end of the day.
Nora, Daphne, Torin, Eddie, Patrick, Casey, Eva, Jye and Jasper.
