Mazenod Youth Exhibition

27-29 October

The City Of Kalamunda Young Artist Awards

On Friday 22 September, a number of Mazenod College students, teachers and parents attended the City of Kalamunda Youth Awards opening night. Every 2 years the City of Kalamunda holds an exhibition that showcases young artists' works at the Zig Zag Gallery and Kalamunda Library. The exhibition is open to young artists living, working or studying in Kalamunda between the ages of 11 and 25. The Young Artist Awards aims to showcase and celebrate emerging young artists through a professional exhibition. This year's theme is “A Medley of You” which aims to ‘inspire a journey of self-expression and identity to explore all the different aspects that make you who you are.’

Mazenod College is very proud to see the work of over 30 students selected and being shown in this year's exhibition. The young artists works were available to see in the Zig Zag Art Gallery in Kalamunda, as well as in an overflow exhibition in the Kalamunda library next door.
