Morning Basketball Sessions In Term 4
This program will be run by Eastern Suns and BWA Development Officer Declan Kinsella, it will be capped at 15 players to ensure coaching quality. See below for details:

Time: 7:00 am to 8:00 am

Important MJBC Committee Update
Thank you for being a part of Season 2 basketball. Over 300 MJBC players have joined us this season to play. However, as signaled in the previous newsletters, the MJBC is in need of members and without them our club player numbers will be impacted in 2024.
Currently, it is projected that only 4 committee members will hold specific roles in 2024 and so only 20 teams will be able to be supported by the club next year, a portion of which will be reserved for incoming Year 7 students.
This number is not set in stone. For every 1 committee role that is filled by the AGM (November 30) an additional 5 teams can be supported by the club. Can you help us keep our club strong and give us as many players as possible the chance to play basketball with MJBC in 2024?
Roles available include registrar, teams coordinator, uniform coordinator, events coordinator, treasurer and vice president.

If you would like to meet the committee in person, the October meeting will be held at 6:00pm, Thursday 26 October in building 7 @ Mazenod College. All are welcome.
Team Photo Schedules
It’s that time again for our yearly team photos. Please find below your scheduled time slots. Please ensure that all players arrive prior to your scheduled time and all boys are dressed in full basketball uniform including white socks. We also encourage both Coaches and Team Manager to be included in the photos (but is optional). These photos are used for the end of year Annual.
The pictures will be taken at Ray Owen in the meeting room near the reception. Your time slot should be within 30 minutes of the start or finish of your game over a two week period, please check the date and time slot and let me know if there are any mistakes so I can reschedule. Thank you.
