Year Level News
Year 1
On Monday 11th September, the Year One students enjoyed their excursion to The Collingwood Children's Farm. They were excited to see the animals at the farm, especially when they were able to pat the goats. The students also potted their own sugar snap pea to take home and explored the farm's market garden.
Thank you to our parent volunteers who supported us to have a great day!

Year 3
On Wednesday, September 13th, the Year 3 and 4 students performed in the ‘Australiana’ themed 3/4 soiree. The evening was a showcase of our students' talents and a celebration of Australia. Being the first time that many of the students had taken to the stage, there was a slight sense of nervousness but mainly excitement as the students made final preparations and the parents, family and friends filled the school hall.
The event began with a warm welcome from Mrs. Lane, who introduced our MCs for the night. 4A started the soiree, delivering a mesmerising dance performance to a contemporary version of "I Am Australian," 3B followed with their relatable and amusing drama performance ‘Are We There Yet?”, 3A delivered a spirited line dance performance to the tune of “Outback Club” and 4B finished the individual class performances with a captivating drama narrative “Foreigners in Oztralia”.
For the finale, all Year 3 and 4 students joined together for a combined performance, singing "Under the Southern Skies” with matching Auslan sign language, showcasing their unity and talent. Mrs. McLeod closed the evening with an extended heartfelt thanks to everyone involved.
We have just a couple of behind the scenes snaps from preparing for the soiree and backstage in the evening and so we hope that you were able to take some lovely photos of your children’s performance!
We want to express our gratitude to all the students, parents, teachers, and staff who worked tirelessly to make this evening a success. Your dedication and hard work shone through in every performance.
As we reflect on this memorable evening, we are proud of the talent and creativity displayed by our students and grateful for the support of our school community.
