Principal's Report

Dear Families,

Welcome back to our final term of the year. It is hard to believe that we are heading towards the finish line of another school year. As the year has progressed, together we have achieved lots of positive outcomes for our students and community. Our Indigenous/Community Garden is looking fantastic now that the temporary fencing has been removed. Again, I thank Mr Peter Attard, and his team of professionals for their work on this project. Mrs Leah Boyce was instrumental in securing the grant, as part of the West Gate Tunnels Project that provided the funds for the works. I thank Leah for her skills in applying and securing the grant, greatly appreciated by us all!

This first week our children have settled back into the swing of daily class routines, fun and friendships. It has been a pleasure to see our children’s’ smiling faces and our staff’s enthusiasm and commitment to providing the highest level of education possible for our students.

We have a number of school events to look forward to including:

  • Year 6: Camp Summit – Monday 30th October – Wednesday 1st November
  • Year 4: Camp Wilkin – Monday 13th November – Wednesday 15th November
  • Kismet Christmas Carols and Picnic – Friday 15th December 5pm
  • Year 6 Graduation  - Monday 18th December – 6:30pm – 9pm

We look forward to celebrating the end of primary years of schooling for our talented Year 6 students. We will ensure that it is a very special night for our students and families.
