Chemistry in Space

Chemistry in Space:

Year 11 chemistry students from LNSC attended a day long workshop at the Victorian Space Science Centre. At the workshop, students analysed the levels of calcium, magnesium and iron in astronauts who spend a lot of time in space at zero gravity. The students got to use some high-end analytical tools to accomplish their tasks. The students enjoyed the exposure and the challenge. The photos show them thoroughly immersed in their tasks.
