Faith Matters

Dear St Francis Xavier Families,

While preparing for our Mothers' Day mass I have been contemplating the significance of this day. I believe it's an opportunity to pay tribute to the nurturing spirit inherent in all women. We often play pivotal roles as caregivers, mentors, and pillars of strength. Acknowledging Mother's Day as a special day for all of us honors our diverse contributions to families, communities, and society at large. It's a reminder to appreciate the invaluable love, guidance, and sacrifices women offer.

It was heartening to see such a wonderful turnout at the mass and morning tea today. I know some of you re-arranged schedules and work to be present and we are very appreciative.  I would also like to acknowledge and send our best wishes to the mothers who had circumstances which prevented them from attending this morning.
