P&F Update

Fundraising Update

The P&F Committee has chosen our fundraising goals for 2024. Not only have we topped up our donation towards the Ninja playground with an additional $10,000 donation, we have also committed to contributing towards additional line marking games for the senior students, as well as a $1,000 donation towards new lego for Lego Club! These fundraising goals were chosen based on feedback from the SRC and school leadership team.

Lego Club is currently attended by up to 40 students each week from various year levels and we are so pleased to be able to support this Club to purchase some exciting new Lego sets. We are also happy to accept donations if any families have Lego at home that they are looking to rehome. Please email pandf@hsringwoodnth.catholic.edu.au

Mother’s Day Stall and Mums’ night

A reminder that tonight is Mums’ Night at The Ten Saints in Croydon, 7.30pm onwards. BYO food and drinks at bar prices.

Our annual Mother’s Day Stall was a great success, raising a whopping $2,388.10 profit for our school. A big thank you to Karen Costello-Manning for coordinating this event, and the team of wonderful volunteers who helped set up and run the stall last week. Your children were delighted to pick out something special for Mum and we hope you enjoy their gifts on Sunday.

We would like to wish all the mums in our school community a VERY happy Mother’s Day this weekend. Did you know that mums do over 90% of the volunteering at Holy Spirit? (Based on 2023 P&F survey results.) Thank you Mums, for everything you do for our school community. We pray that you enjoy a relaxing and peaceful day on Sunday (or at least a hot cuppa and 5 minutes peace).

Second-hand Uniform Shop – 17 May

Have your kids had a growth spurt?! Come along and grab some bargains at our next Second-hand Uniform Shop session on Fri 17 May 2.50pm-3.20pm in the P&F room. Most items are only $2.

Remember: grey bottoms and white tops are still ok to be worn by grade 2 students and above until the end of this year HOWEVER please do not donate grey/white items to the Second-hand Uniform Shop. We are no longer selling them and disposing of these items creates extra work for our volunteers.

Please refer to the school website for more information about what is (and isn’t) part of our school uniform https://hsringwoodnth.catholic.edu.au/school-uniform/
