Parish fortnightly: This weekend we celebrate a very special day for all mothers, “Mother’s Day”. It is a lovely time to reflect on our mothers and what they have done for us and given us throughout our lives. We hope you enjoy this day with your family and that you are treated to a very special day and lots of love from your children. You deserve it.
On Wednesday 15th May at 7.00 pm, our confirmation candidates will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. This will be a very special time for them and may they grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus and be filled with inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Congratulations and all our love from your Parish Community.
St. Vincent de Paul are looking for food donations to help members of our Community who are struggling. There is a special bin in the Church entrance where you can deposit any non-perishable food such as soup tins, pasta, breakfast cereals, tea, coffee etc. Please check that the use by date has not expired. Any donations will be greatly accepted.
Again Happy Mother’s Day to our wonderful mums. Enjoy the weekend ahead.
