Principal's Report

Report from our Principal: Duncan Arendse

Dear Parents, Friends and Father Arsenio,

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish all the mothers in our community a very happy Mother's Day for Sunday, and every other day really! I am fortunate enough to still have my mum and I know that some in our community are not as fortunate. I do hope that your children look after you.

Next week our students are celebrating the sacrament of Confirmation at St Patrick's Cathedral. This is a momentous occasion for these students as they make their first decision as an adult in the Catholic Faith tradition. Please keep these students in your thoughts and prayers.

Our school tours are drawing to an end. One of the last is on May 22nd. If you are aware of a family who are looking to enrol a child for next year can you please ask them to book in for this tour.

I am very grateful to our P&F who have generously supported several initiatives with their fundraising. The Ninja playground, playground line markings and Lego Club are the most recent beneficiaries. My thanks to Kat and the hard working group that make these things possible.

Production auditions have begun in earnest. Sherree has set the bar high two years ago and as a result we are being inundated with students wanting to try out. Stay tuned for further updates. My thanks to Sherree in the meantime.

Thank you and have a great fortnight

Duncan
