5/6FA Learning

During the past week, students in 5/6  FA have been reading the class text ONCE by Morris Gleitzman. 

The novel follows Felix on his quest to find his parents and his search for understanding as he comes face to face with many challenges. Throughout the novel, Felix’s talents as a storyteller highlight the humour, courage and strength this character draws on to help himself and support those around him.

In Writing, 5/6 FA students have been planning and creating an Information Report about ‘Australia.’ Students have been asked to use an engaging introduction that grabs the attention of the reader. Students are using various language features like present tense, descriptive language and factual words that will make their story more interesting.
