Celebrating Student Learning

Year 6 Art

Since the beginning of Term 2, a group of Grade 6 artists have been working on a special art project to enter a competition at CS Square shopping centre in Caroline Springs. The theme is STEM and we have developed a concept of "Genetically Modified Cropcorn" highlighting our amazing painting and collage skills to create a true mixed media artwork. With a prize up for grabs of an $1000 Officeworks voucher we would love your support!

The art display will be set up outside ALDI near the Food Court and Kmart  from Monday, 13 May – Sunday, 2 June. The local community will be able to view our art piece (alongside all the other school pieces) and vote by scanning the QR code located on the posters at the display. There are also 5 x $50 Kmart Vouchers to be awarded at random to lucky voters!

So please head on down to vote and share with your family and friends so we can get as many votes as possible. The students have worked really hard and I would love to see them recognised for their efforts.

Many thanks,

Ms Reid

Gardening Club

Last week in Gardening Club, it was time for a harvest! We collected lettuce, spring onion, carrots and zucchinis. Some of the students took home the lettuce and this week we will enjoy roasted zucchini parmigiana.

Thank you,

Ms Defreitas, Ms Wheeler and Ms Cathy.
