Level 5

Welcome Back!

We have had a wonderful start to the term, and it has been fantastic to see students settling back into routines so smoothly. The classrooms have been filled with enthusiasm, positive energy, and a strong eagerness to learn, which has made for a very pleasing start to the year.

Positive Start Program

This week, we have been taking part in the Positive Start Program, where students and teachers work together to establish clear expectations, routines, and the positive learning vibe that shapes our classroom culture. Through discussions and activities, students explored and reflected on our school values of RESPECT, RESILIENCE, TEAMWORK, and GROWTH, and how these values guide their learning and behaviour each day. It has been wonderful to see students engaging thoughtfully and contributing to a strong sense of belonging in the classroom.

It was also lovely to meet so many of you at the Welcome BBQ and Open Classroom last Friday. Thank you for taking the time to come along, connect with staff, and share in our learning spaces. Your support and engagement play such an important role in creating a strong school community, and it was great to see this in action.

Our Learning Environment

This term, our School Wide Positive Behaviour Program will be focusing on Ready to Learn behaviours and School Pride. Students are working on being ready to learn in the classroom by arriving at school on time and ensuring they have the required items out and ready for learning. We are also encouraging students to take pride in our school environment by keeping rubbish in bins, helping to clean up the yard, and maintaining a neat and tidy school.

  • Practise their spelling words daily and complete one activity per week from the Spelling Grid located in their Homework books.
