Week 4 of Advent. This Sunday, the 4th candle of the Advent wreath will be lit. This candle is purple and symbolises Love. It is also known as the ' Angel's Candle' representing the angels' announcement of "Peace on Earth, Good Will Toward Men" at Jesus' birth, signifying the arrival of Christ who brings peace and love, marking the final week before Christmas.
It's a wrap on another wonderful year. I have enjoyed watching the children grow and become confident in their learning and with themselves. I wish to thank our staff for their hard work this year. Each and every staff member has contributed to the growth of the school and the children. It amazes me that even though we are tired at this time of the year, teachers are still smiling and remain enthusiastic and are giving their very best to see that each of their class members have a well rounded experience up until the last day.
To our families — thank you for your support and we look forward to working with you all again in 2026 in achieving the best possible outcomes for your child/ren. We say farewell to 19 families. We trust that your time with us has been happy and rewarding. We will welcome 14 new families to our school community in 2026. We look forward to getting to know your family over your time with us.
My wish for each student is, that when they look back on this year, they are proud of what they have achieved and what they've learned both academically and personally and that they have noticed growth within themselves.
Congratulations and farewell to our Grade 6 students. We will miss you all but know that you are all ready to . Know that we have enjoyed seeing you all grow and become valued members of our school community. We wish you good luck in your further education and pathways that you choose for the future.
