The recent Year 7 Cadet Bivouac was a resounding success, showcasing the enthusiasm, resilience, and leadership of our newest cadets. This year’s new format introduced an exciting overnight trekking and camping experience at Nangar National Park, featuring a challenging ascent to the Mt Nangar Lookout. Cadets also enjoyed a rotation of engaging activities back at school, designed to build teamwork and confidence.
The participation and spirit displayed by all cadets were outstanding, with particular commendation to the rank for their exemplary leadership throughout the program. A heartfelt thank you goes to our dedicated Cadet staff for their tireless efforts and commitment to the continual improvement of the Cadet program.

We are pleased to share two key updates to our Positive Behaviour Policy and pastoral care practices.
To enhance transparency, the school has introduced Yellow Level notifications for parents and carers. These will complement the existing Green Level Restorative Conversation records already visible on your child’s Pastoral Care page via the Hub.
Parents will receive automatic notifications for both Green and Yellow Level updates. Notifications can be customised via your Hub settings. Please download the instructions below on how to update your notification preferences.
Additionally, the Senior School has reviewed the Orange Level Detention and changed the format from a three-hour Saturday detention to a two-hour Friday afternoon detention. Students who receive an Orange Detention will attend the Yellow Level Detention from 3:30pm – 4:30pm and remain onsite for a second hour, from 4:30pm – 5:30pm. Orange Level Detentions will consist of formal reflection, academic work and community service activities.
Thank you for your continued support in fostering a positive and respectful school environment.
