Sony Camp Needs Nurses!

The camp is very much in need of a small number of nurses to volunteer and the P&F is supporting their search. Can you help or do you know a nurse who might be interested in supporting the event?

To express your interest or learn more, please email us at sonycamp@kws.nsw.edu.au.

Sony Camp Christmas Lunch - Call for Volunteers

The P&F is supporting a Christmas Lunch for all of the campers and volunteers, to be held on the last day of camp. Kinross Wolaroi families are invited to support the lunch by volunteering to help on the day or donating Christmas lunch items such as ham, salads and desserts. What a great way to kick off the festive season! Can you help? Go to the link below to book your volunteer role or confirm a donation.

The Country Fair is not far away!

The 2026 Kinross Wolaroi Country Fair will be staged in Week 6 of Term 1, which doesn’t leave a lot of time for us to get organised when we return in 2026, so there are a number of items we’d love you to start thinking about and organising NOW in preparation for next year!

A Call for Donations

  • Plant stall donations – For all of our families with ‘green thumbs’ we need your help! Please start propagating herbs and plants from your garden! Pulling out a tree or hedge? Pot it up for the fair! Our plant stall will rely on your donations so please start ‘potting up’ as we’ll be asking you to drop off plant donations from Term 1 next year.
  • Book donations – we’re calling for donations for our secondhand book stall. We won’t be taking magazines or National Geographics. We are looking for GOOD quality: kids books, novels, coffee table books.
  • Cakes, jams, pickles, preserves – in summer good produce is abundant and cheap so please support us by bottling your home-made jams, pickles and preserves to sell at the fair! Cakes can be dropped off the day before or on the day of the Fair.
  • Jar stall & lolly bags– the jar and lolly bag stall is a great option if you are not a cook. Save some jars and fill them with fun items for purchase: small collectible toys or cards, crayons, stickers, socks, bath bombs, makeup – use your imagination! Or simply donate a few bags of wrapped lollies!
  • Boarder produce stall - our Boarder Produce Stall is looking for donations of fresh fruits and vegetables (such as apples, oranges, citrus, tomatoes, carrots, lettuces, and herbs), dried goods (like beans, lentils and nuts), homemade jams, chutneys, honey, beeswax products, local olive oils, dips, soaps, creams, or even fresh eggs from local farms.

We'll share instructions for dropping off donations a little later this term.
