Walking Together: Year 6 Badged Leaders Celebrate NAIDOC 2025 in Orange
On Monday 20 October, our Year 6 Badged Leaders proudly joined the Senior School at the 2025 Orange NAIDOC March, standing together in celebration of Culture, Community and connection. Marching alongside Senior School students, staff and other local schools, our leaders demonstrated great pride and respect as they represented Kinross Wolaroi School.
The march was a wonderful opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of First Nations histories and Wiradjuri Culture and to walk in unity under this year’s NAIDOC theme. A huge thank you to Mr Lee Taylor and Corey for their support and organisation in ensuring our students could take part in such a meaningful occasion.

Year 3 horse Riding Star!
Lucy Wood in Year 3 has had an outstanding year in the ring competing with her pony, BeeBee.
In August, Lucy competed at the Waratah World Cup show in Sydney. She received 4th place in one of her classes, out of 25 competitors, all under the age of 18, with Lucy being the youngest rider. She also received a 2nd place in the U18 60cm Showjumping Junior Division.
In October, Lucy competed at ISHE in Tamworth as part of the Kinross Wolaroi team. She was one of three Junior School riders. She came third in the overall Primary School Division for dressage and jumping.
Lucy has worked hard riding her pony before school, after school and during the holidays and weekends. She has shown tremendous strength and commitment to her sport and we are so proud of her efforts as a young rider.
