Student Well-being

Hi Everyone,

We are now over halfway through the term—what a journey it has been so far! With all areas of the college buzzing with activity, I’m sure the same could be said for your home lives too.

Over the past couple of weeks during small group work and check-ins, students have been sharing about their daily routines—how they start their mornings and what time “lights out” happens in the evening. These insights have sparked some great conversations around sleep, routine, and wellbeing.

To support you as parents and carers in navigating these sometimes-challenging areas, I’ve included a couple of helpful links below. These resources offer practical advice and tips on improving sleep routines for school-aged children:

Rainbows Program

I have had some parent enquiries regarding the next intake for our Rainbows group. Expressions of Interest will be distributed in Week 8. Once you’ve had a chance to review the information, and if you believe your child/ren would benefit from the program, please complete and return the form to the college addressed to me.

Alternatively, if you’d prefer to chat further, before making a decision, feel free to contact me at the college by email or phone. I’m more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
