Celebrating Curiosity and Action: The 2025 Year 5 & 6 PYP Exhibition!

The BER was buzzing with excitement this week as our Year 5 and 6 students confidently presented the culmination of their primary school learning journey—the IB PYP Exhibition. It was a remarkable showcase of their hard work, passion, and deep thinking.

Under the Transdisciplinary Theme of 'Where We Are in Place and Time,' our students embarked on impressive learning journeys. They grappled with complex and engaging topics, including the fight for women’s rights, the evolution of medicine and its global impact, how fashion has changed over time, the stories behind pivotal inventors, and the challenging realities of conflicts between countries.

The Exhibition is the project of the PYP, designed to encourage students to become independent, globally-minded thinkers. It empowers them to investigate a topic they are passionate about, synthesise their learning from different subject areas, and share their findings with a real audience. More than just a project, it's a celebration of their growth as capable and caring learners who are ready to take action in the world.

The success of an event on this scale is a true reflection of our wonderful community working together. Our deepest thanks go to everyone who contributed—from the guest speakers who sparked new ideas and the parents who helped prepare the displays, to the friendly faces in the audience who cheered on our students. Your collective support is what makes these powerful learning moments possible. A special and heartfelt thank you must also go to our incredible teachers, who guided the students every step of this learning journey.
