Year 1/2 Highlights 

Last Friday, we celebrated Bullying No Way Week by wearing purple and participating in the largest anti-bullying lesson. We learned what bullying looks like, what we can do if we are being bullied, and who we feel safe talking to about it.

As a school, we also focused on the value of acceptance, and the importance of listening to others’ opinions and ideas. Everyone had lots to share, and it was great to see so many students proudly dressed in purple to support the message.

Year 1/2 Fluency Pairs!

As part of our literacy block, our students are doing an activity called fluency pairs. Students get to practice reading out loud in interesting and exciting ways. All this reading practice means our students will be dynamic readers in no time!
