Upcoming Road Closure

From 9.30am Friday 9 February to 6:00am Thursday 7 March – Surf Coast Highway will be closed in both directions between the level crossing and Baanip Boulevard. This closure will have significant impacts and delays for drivers, including school buses. 

Works will be taking place 24hrs during this period to upgrade critical drainage, re-aligning the lanes of the Surf Coast Highway to its original alignment, install new curbs and lighting around the centre bridge pier and installing the artwork on the new rail bridge.  

Detours will be in place for drivers, and pedestrian access may have to be closed at times for public safety, otherwise will be maintained through the covered walkway.
