PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

Lindy Burke

A big congratulations to all of our newly appointed house leaders. As leaders, these students will have the opportunity to inspire others, foster positive change while making a lasting impact on our school. I am sure all of our 2024 leaders will lead with integrity, empathy and inclusivity whilst demonstrating our school values each and every day! I can’t wait to see them all flourish as they grow into these positions throughout the year.

Next week our leaders will have the opportunity to put their leadership skills into practice as they help Mr Holmfield with the running of the grades 3 to 6 swimming sports on Monday. Then on Wednesday, they will all be put to the test leading their multi-age team of ‘East Survivors’ with our annual tabloid sport extravaganza and finally on Friday, with a very early start, they are all off to Melbourne to attend the Young Leaders conference. A big week indeed for our leaders!

So on that note, rest up Easties, next week is going to be a big one! Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
