Principal's Message

Welcome to 2024

I hope this message finds you well and filled with excitement as we gear up for another incredible school year at St. Joseph's, Cobram. As the principal, it is both an honour and a pleasure to welcome you back to our vibrant learning community.

The start of a new school year is always a special time - a fresh beginning filled with endless possibilities, growth, and achievements. Whether you are a returning family or new to our school, we extend a heartfelt welcome to each and every one of you. We are thrilled to have you as part of the St. Joseph's family, and we look forward to the unique contributions and talents that each student and family brings to our community.

Our dedicated team of educators and staff have been working diligently over the summer to create a positive and enriching environment for your children. We are committed to fostering a love for learning, encouraging curiosity, and providing the necessary support for every student to thrive academically, socially, spiritually, and emotionally.

Communication is key to a successful partnership between school and home, and we encourage open and transparent dialogue throughout the year. Our doors are always open, and we welcome your feedback, suggestions, and involvement in our school community.

Thank you for entrusting us with the education and well-being of your children. We are truly excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and look forward to a fantastic school year together.

Wishing you all a successful and fulfilling academic year!

As many of you are aware, I spent 3 months in a moon boot late last year.  Unfortunately, my foot hasn't healed, and after seeing an orthopedic surgeon in Melbourne, I am required to have surgery next week, and a pin put into my foot to secure it.  This will mean a few weeks off work and lots of rest.  Mrs. Arundel will step into my role as Acting Principal.

Warm regards,

Sarah Iddles
