2024 Preps settling in really well
The new preps have settled in very well this week, they have been learning the routines in OSHC as well as some well deserved rest after a hard day at school with a movie.
Keep a look out for our program of activities each fortnight to keep up to date with what is happening in OSHC.
Programs will be displayed in the parent sign in area and emailed out fortnightly.
After School Care Rooms
As we have many children attending after school care we have them in two separate spaces within the school. The prep and grade 1 children are in the OSHC main room and the grades 2 to 6 are in the school hall.
You will still need to sign your children out from the main OSHC room and we will ring for your child to come up from the school hall when you arrive to collect them.
Please feel free to drop in and see the children in the hall and have a chance to see what they have been doing and the friends they are making.
Booking Reminders
Term 1 is busier with many families heading back to work, just a few reminders;
- Cancellation of permanent bookings requires 2 weeks’ notice. This is to cancel the booking permanently not just for a single/few days.
- Individual day cancellations will still incur the regular fee for that session. Please give us some notice of new permanent bookings to enable us to source extra educators if required.
- Casual bookings may be limited due to educator numbers. It you know you need a casual booking try to make it in advance to ensure a place. Fees will still be charged if your situation changes and you no longer need the booking. Book via mobile 0409 007 104 or email wheelershilloshc@gmail.com.
- Please notify us if your child is not attending OSHC via text or a call 0409 007 104 as we don’t receive notification from the school if your child is absent or has gone home early. This is to ensure all children are safe and educators are not looking for missing children who have not attended school.
