Year 5/6 Sports Report-

This term the year 5/6s participated in a summer sport round robin, competing against 5 other schools in kickball and tee-ball. We participated against St. Lukes, St. Scholastica's, Weeden Heights, Parkhill and Holy Saviour.

Kickball was an amazing experience for the year 5/6 students who competed in it against five districts. We did exceptionally well however we needed to improve our skills in many areas such as aiming, communication and speed. We are proud of our kickball team because of all the great sportsmanship and support for each other. We are very grateful to have experienced this and we can't wait to compete in our future round robin later this year.

Tee ball

Our year 5/6s had an amazing time during the tee ball games and we are extremely proud of the team for making it to 3rd place. Our tee ball team did a great job at supporting each other during the games, we also did an exceptional job at scoring some home runs for our school. There has been a huge improvement since when we started practising. Our improvements range from hitting further away to running faster. The year 5/6s are very grateful for having a chance to compete against the 5 other districts.
