World Read Aloud Day

On Wednesday, February 7th, Monash SDS celebrated World Read Aloud Day. The day commenced with an engaging session, "Read Aloud with Lindy," led by Principal Lindy Abernethy, who eloquently brought stories to life. Additionally, we were honoured to host author Reuben Cullen, who enthralled us with a reading of his book, "A Hero Born."

World Read Aloud Day underscores the significance of literacy and communication skills. Through reading aloud, we cultivate language learning and a love of books. This celebration reaffirms our commitment to fostering a culture of reading and lifelong learning.
