Newlands in a Nutshell

Here is a snapshot of the important bits in this newsletter that you don't want to miss! be sure to read on for a more comprehensive rundown of all things happening at Newlands.

• School Council Nominations forms are available in the office
• Year 1/2 Incursion, Bounce Back - Thursday 29th February
• Year 3/4 Incursion, The Super Hero in You - Wednesday 28th February
• Thao Lam will continue to provide support to individual students through her paediatric psychology services.  Please contact Sonya if you would like to discuss how to access her service.
• For families eligble for CSEF funding, please contact the office to ensure that the necessary paperwork has been completed.
• Hats must be worn in Term 1
• The first Parents and Friends Association meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 21st at 7:30 PM in the School Staff Room (next to the old school office, just follow the automatic sliding door near the quadrangle). All are welcome!
• Consent of Photographs, Filming or Recording of your Child is given to a student initially when they are enrolled in the school. However, if you would like to withdraw consent for your child to be photographed, filmed, or recorded, please complete the following form: https://forms.office.com/r/evm1qwH067
• A Local Excursion permission slip has been published on Sentral to obtain consent for all local excursions that may take place in 2024. If you do not want to give consent for local excursions, please indicate this on the Sentral permission slip. 
• Spanish Fiesta will begin at 3:00pm instead of the 4:00pm that was previously advertised
