MATHEMATICS
Welcome back to another exciting year of mathematical exploration and discovery at Sacred Heart! As we embark on this journey together, we are thrilled to dive into the world of numbers, shapes, patterns, problem-solving and more.
Mathematics is not just about calculations; it's also about sharpening critical thinking skills, developing ability to reason and use logic. Throughout the year, students will explore various areas of mathematics, from algebra to geometry and beyond. Students will engage in hands-on activities, real-world applications, and collaborative projects that will challenge them to think creatively and apply their mathematical knowledge to solve complex problems.
As the Mathematics leader, I support teachers to plan engaging activities and also work in classes to support learning in mathematics. During term 1 I will be working with students in year 3, 4 and 5.
