An information session is being held at 6:30pm, on the 27th of February 2024, at the ADF Cadet Facility on Sports UNE Drive Armidale.

The Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) is a youth development organisation for young Australians aged between 12 and 18 years.

Our programs provide local employment opportunities for students finishing school and wanting to start a meaningful career pathway.

There are a range of Program opportunities on offer, across different disciplines, including Civil Construction, Business, Project Management, Operational Management Systems and Finance.


CYC Armidale are running a few free programs!!!

Youth Boxing Program

Time: Mondays 5:00 - 6:00pm

Age: 13 - 16 yrs

This boxing program aims to teach youth fundamental boxing skills and techniques, and help improve stamina and condition as well as coordination and reactions. Young people participating regularly will be able to continue training in the future.

Youth Social Futsal

Time: Mondays 5:30 - 6:30pm

Age: 12 - 15 yrs

This is a social futsal session held every Monday to train futsal and soccer skills, improve teamwork ethic and coordination, and play social futsal matches in teams formed on the day, depending on the participants in attendance.

U-Nites Youth program

Time: Fridays 5:00 - 8:00pm (with exceptions on Fri 23 Feb - Pride in the Park event; and Fri 29 March - Easter weekend)

Age: 12 - 17 yrs

U-Nites program runs every Friday night and includes sports, games, and group activities as well as dinner. We also offer transport home after the program but do not offer pick-ups to PCYC before the program starts.

Please note that a PCYC membership is required for all activities and programs at the club. As all these three programs are funded, there is no cost to the participants, and the membership fee can also be covered if you don't already have a current membership.


ASC is extremely grateful to our regional Universities who visited our school today. Representatives from the University of New England, Southern Cross University, University of Newcastle and Charles Sturt University provided our yr12 students with valuable information covering:

• The admissions process – deciding on courses, UAC and alternative entry

• Career destinations and work experience

• Accommodation options – on campus/off campus, catering, costs, support

• Financial considerations – HECS/HELP, additional study costs, scholarships

• University life – making the most of your university experience, how university life differs from school, how to be successful at university.
