Welcome

A warm welcome to the 2024 school year, particularly to those families new to Croydon Hills Primary School. 

This past week I have enjoyed visiting classrooms and specialist learning spaces.  The school year has started extremely smoothly with students quickly settling into their new classrooms, and many new friendships developing. 

A reminder that gates are locked at 9:05am, younger siblings are more than welcome to continue playing on the playground, however if the gates a locked parents will need to exit via the office.

Classroom Helper Training

Next Thursday CHPS is running classroom helper training.  This training is offered to all parents, carers or family members who either haven't undertaken the training or would like a refresher on how you can assist in our classrooms for 2024.  This presentation will outline our current reading philosophy/practices, tips to support your child's reading at home and some guidance around our agreed expectations when you're in the classroom.

Location: CHPS Staffroom (although this location may change pending on numbers)

Who: Carers, parents and family members - younger siblings and toddlers in your care are also welcome to join us.
