What's Happening in the F/1 Classroom?
The Foundation & Grade 1 students have settled in beautifully and we have been enjoying getting to know each other. We are so impressed with how quickly they have become familiar with our routines and expectations. We are looking forward to seeing lots of leanring and growth this term!
It was lovely to see some parents at our Opening School Mass on Wednesday. The Foundation students were very respectful during their first school Mass. Well done to those students who had a special role to play in the Mass.
We had an amazing time at our Swimming Sports on Friday. Congratulations to MacKillop House (green) for winning. The F/1 students enjoyed some fun races in the smaller pool, including the noodle relay, whirlpool race, ball and cork scramble and more!
Discover the transformative power of at-home learning, particularly the joy of reading together. Spending just a few minutes nightly exploring stories strengthens literacy skills and family bonds. Reading with your child at least four nights a week is recommended. This will help with fostering a love for learning in your child. By prioritising at-home learning, you're laying the groundwork for academic achievement and a future brimming with possibilities.
Have a great weekend everyone, and please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions!
