DISTRICT CROSS COUNTRY

What an amazing day for our District Cross Country yesterday. We were so impressed with all the students, who performed exceptionally well and represented Grovedale West with pride. Many thanks to all the parents and families who came to Eastern Gardens and supported our students.

From the performances today we have the following students progressing to the Division event at the Geelong Racecourse on Tuesday 19th May:

Mia M—4th, 9/10 Girls

Hazel A—8th, 9/10 Girls

Zoe D—6th, 12/13 Girls

Congratulations to all competitors and good luck to our Geelong North Division competitors.  

WINTER SPORT—YEAR 5 & 6

The Winter Sport program for our Year 5/6 students will commence next Thursday 30th April with our Winter Carnival.  The students will play soccer and football at Geelong College Middle School, Aberdeen St, Geelong West, netball at Kardinia Park and Tee ball at Elderslie Reserve, Read St, Newtown. 

We require Compass approval for each ROUND to allow your child to participate, by the due date.

19th May - Division Cross Country - Geelong Racecourse

21st May - Winter Sport Rd 3 (1.00pm to 3.15pm) - Year 5 & 6

28th May - Winter Sport Rd 4 (1.00pm to 3.15pm) - Year 5 & 6

4th June - Winter Sport Rd 5 (1.00pm to 3.15pm) - Year 5 & 6

9th June - Year 1 & 2 Day Camp - Wyuna Queenscliff
