Mathematics

In Mathematics, we are diving into division! We’ve been solving tricky word problems by working together in groups, talking through our ideas, and explaining our thinking. We are learning to spot at least two important pieces of information in each question and to try different ways to solve it. It’s all about teamwork, thinking hard, and finding clever solutions!

English

In Writing, we are exploring the exciting world of persuasive writing. We’re learning how to write strong paragraphs that clearly support our arguments. Students are practising using convincing reasons, powerful words, and clear examples to persuade their readers. Our goal is to become confident writers who can share our opinions and convince others!

Visual Arts

In Visual Arts, we are creating beautiful tapa designs inspired by traditional patterns from Fiji. This project will be part of our Quirindi Show display, which is based on the theme “Around the World.” We’re enjoying learning about the cultural significance of these designs while creating our own unique versions.
