Update from Support

Throughout Term 3, the Stage 4 Support Unit has engaged in a range of enriching experiences that have supported both curriculum learning and personal development. As part of our Community Access program, which focuses on Healthy Lifestyles and Community Recreation, students enjoyed a refreshing visit to O’Hares Creek. This excursion provided a fantastic opportunity for physical activity amidst the beauty of nature, promoting wellbeing and an appreciation for the outdoors.

In addition to these outdoor adventures, our students showcased their enthusiasm and team spirit by taking part in the School Sports Units tenpin bowling competition for students with disability. This friendly and inclusive event encouraged social interaction, coordination, and a strong sense of community. Congratulations to our team for their outstanding participation—everyone had a wonderful day!

We were also proud to see many students actively involved in the whole school Reconciliation Assembly. They proudly performed traditional dances, sharing their knowledge and celebrating Torres Strait Islander cultures, greatly enriching our school community.
