Term 3 Wrap-Up

Wow! what a term it’s been! Term 3 has been absolutely jam-packed with events, activities, and some amazing achievements from our students. It's been busy, exciting, and full of moments we can all be proud of.

One of the biggest highlights this term was our NAIDOC Week Assembly and workshops, where we celebrated culture, community and connection. A massive shoutout to everyone involved in the performance collaborations with Thomas Acres Public School and Ambarvale Public School. It was incredible to see our students step up and shine in front of the school and community.

We also had six of our students smash it at the Sydney Marathon which was such a massive effort and an amazing achievement! On top of that, four of our year 9-12 students took part in a Canva workshop, getting a behind-the-scenes look at careers in digital design and content creation. A really cool opportunity to explore where creativity and technology can take you.

Sport has been a big focus this term too. Nine of our students represented us at the South West Sydney Academy of Sport Talent Day, and we’re also gearing up for the NASCA Sydney Inter-Academy Sports Day, where we’ll be competing against six other NASCA schools within Sydney for the NASCA Traditional Indigenous Games Title Belt which we are ready and keen to bring it home!

Beyond the events, one of the best parts of this term has been seeing so many students making real progress, whether it’s been better attendance, improved behaviour or stronger results in assessments and tests. The growth this term has been unreal and I couldn’t be prouder of how far so many of you have come.

As we get ready to say goodbye to our Year 12 students, we just want to say how much we’ll miss them. They’ve made such a positive impact and we know they’ve got bright futures ahead.

So that’s a wrap on Term 3. A term full of energy, effort, and great vibes. Let’s carry that momentum into Term 4!
