2026 Subject Selection

Following our recent Subject Selection Expo and Information Sessions in the last week of Term 2, all students in Years 8 to 11 and their families are encouraged to review the 2026 Subject Selection Guide and check Simon/PAM for key dates and details regarding next year’s subject selection.

Congratulations to Emily Laidlaw (Year 10 – Lourdes) on her successful application and selection for the Monash Scholars Program.

Congratulations to Eleanor Graafsma (Year 11 – Champagnat) for her outstanding commitment to agricultural career exploration, including work experience in South Australia, participation in the University of Queensland’s Agricultural and Veterinary Science Camp, the Australian Sheep and Wool Show, and receiving Rotary sponsorship to attend the Defying the Drift Program at Longerenong Agricultural College this September.

VTAC Applications for Year 12 Students

Year 12 students planning further study in 2026 and beyond are encouraged to create a VTAC account. VTAC course applications open on 4 August. 

 

While the deadline is the end of September, we recommend submitting applications, including equity schemes and scholarships, by the end of Term 3. VTAC also offers a series of community information webinars.

Open Day Season

Year 10 to 12 students interested in careers requiring further study are encouraged to attend at least one Open Day. Please refer to the attached PDF summary for dates, details, and advice.

All students and families should regularly check the weekly Career Notice on Simon/PAM for key resources and upcoming opportunities. Events such as the Grand Prix, Girls in Blue, and Federation University Experience Day may require prompt applications.
