Career & Pathway

Within the Career & Pathway space, the aim is to build the students' knowledge in career management, employability skills, resume & cover letter creating, knowing what a School Based Apprenticeship Traineeship (SBAT) or Vocational Education Training is and options for post-secondary education - TAFE, University or employment.


This Term, our students attended the Local Government Career Expo held at Galen. This event showcased career opportunities within our city council - Rural City of Wangaratta, and student will have the opportunity to participate in work experience in Term 4. 

The other event was the Hands on Trades Career Expo at Winton. Students in Year 9, 10, 11 & 12 attended, with students encouraged to participate in hands on activities, enquire and chat with exhibitors and explore industries unknown to them.


NE Tracks LLEN 'Hands on Coffee - Work Experience' Program

During August and September five Borinya students participated in the Hands on Coffee program hosted by local Cafes. All students have enjoyed their placement, and a 'big shout' out to the local cafes for being generous with their time, nuturing our students and supporting our young people.
