NENW Athletics Carnival

Congratulations to our Senior Boys Relay Team (Ashton A, James, Lachy & Lebron) and Piper (junior girls high jump) who represented not only Werris Creek Public School, but also Quirindi Zone for Junior Girls High Jump at the New England Northwest Athletics Carnival in Tamworth last Wednesday.  The boys came 5th in the semi finals and Piper came an impressive 12th out of 26 girls.  We are very proud of your efforts and to reach this level of competition is outstanding.  Well done.

NRL Gala Day

Students in Yr 5/6 are invited to participate in a NRL Gala Day to be held at the Tamworth Minor League Fields on Tuesday, 24th September.   Information regarding this event will be sent home at the end of this week.

Term 4 Sport

From Week 1 Yrs 3-6 will be swimming on Tuesdays for Sport between 1:00pm and 2:30pm.  Permission notes were sent home last Friday and we ask if they can be returned no later than Friday, 20th September.

If your child is in Years 5 and 6 and has an interest in participating in any PSSA sporting activities, they will be given a note to fill in and return.  Please note that all notes must be submitted by the due date as late entries will not be accepted.
