There are so many exciting neurodivergent events coming up…

This event is being held this Saturday (I think there’s an online option too) – I was fortunate to go last year and attending again this year… It’s filled with quality speakers with loads of lived experience (personally, as a carer etc) and professional that give great insight into ADHD (and often Autism). There’s also opportunities to connect with other like-minded people and view new resources (books, fidgets etc)… 

Then next Monday we are hosting the first of the Talking ND Community sessions at our lovely school with Mark Le Messurier. For those of you that secured tickets I look forward to seeing you there – I can’t believe that the tickets were booked out in under 2 weeks..!! Hopefully, the positive response enables more of these free sessions to run in 2025. I genuinely believe that when people know better, they do better… As a community we can help to break down barriers and move towards an authentically inclusive society…

I usually host a parent catchup in weeks 3 and 8 of each term, however, due to organising and hosting the community session I was at capacity–extremely sorry about not being able to manage the two. Please yell out if you’d like to catch up; I’ll always make time and priorities this.

Many of you will know the work of Nell Harris (My Brain is a Race Car)… I came across this fantastic resource that she has put together… It complements the Interoception practices at HEPS and helps to build up understanding of internal body awareness and the impact that it has… I hope you all enjoy it!
