Term 3 continues to be busy as year 7s explored the topic of solid, liquid and gases. This involved them separating a suspension we call ‘green gunge’. The year 8s were busy making paper from grass which some of them we able to write on. The year 8s have moved on to explore the topic of geology which we get them looking at the rock cycle using sugar. The year 9s finished off the topic of chemistry and have moved on to the topic of responding where they are looking at their own reflexes. The year 10 Science Investigations is looking at the topic of global warming where they are making and testing solar ovens. Mr Young continues to create amazing experiments in year 11 chemistry. The year 12 chemistry and physics classes have been finishing off their own investigations into a range of topics.
