VicSRC Congress

On Friday 13 September, Edward Bechaz (Year 7), Ruby Varney (Year 9) and Tilly Thompson (Year 10), attended the VicSRC Congress, where they and hundreds of other students from around Victoria got together at Wurun Senior Campus in Fitzroy to talk about the education experience from a student’s perspective.

The topics discussed were; inclusive education, mental health and wellbeing, the definition of success and greater investments in schools. The Minister of Education was in attendance and also spoke. The three students the attended said that it was a great opportunity to meet new people, learn by example and take inspiration from others.
