Premier's Be Active Challenge
Premier's Be Active Challenge 2024
This term children will have the opportunity to participate in the Premier's Be Active Challenge, which runs throughout Term 3.
The Premier’s Be Active Challenge encourages children to be more active more often and improve the health and wellbeing of all Australian students. It’s a great time to be inspired to be active with the 2024 Olympic Games taking place in Paris.
Your child will be bringing home a Premier's Be Active booklet at the end of week 2. Children are encouraged to keep track of their daily physical activity and are recommended to aim to be physically active for at least 60 minutes a day. After the completion of the 4 week challenge families are to verify their child’s physical activity with a signature and return the form to their class teacher.
Physical activity can be as simple as washing the car, gardening and walking the dog. This challenge can be achieved by all and we strongly encourage children to participate.
At the end of the challenge, children will be awarded a medal in November. "
It is hoped that all students at Lockley North Primary School get on board and participate in this great initiative. All forms must be returned by Friday 27/9 week 10.
