TERM 3 WEEK 10
As we come to the end of another highly successful term, I would like to acknowledge the hard work of our students and staff. The students are always highly engaged and striving to learn and grow. Every one of them embraces our school motto 'Aiming High'. Our teachers continued commitment to ensuring our students get the highest quality education is brilliant. Well done everyone!
Sports Day
What a highly successful day we had! The weather worked out and everyone involved had a wonderful day. Congratulations to Grallina on their victory.
I would like to thank the Sports Day Committee (especially Amy B and Davis S) for all their hard work. The day ran very smoothly and the new format worked very well.
Finally, thank you to all the parents who baked and donated goods and the parents who volunteered to help with the BBQ and Cake Stall. Overall the Cake Stall made $922.60 and the BBQ $2100.00. With an overall profit of $3022.60. An amazing effort everyone. Funds raised will be used to upgrade the basketball rings and install new netball rings.
Class Placements 2025
In the first few weeks of Term 4, the process to place students into classes for 2025 will begin.
Classes are formed according to:
Class Placement Guidelines-COMMUNITY.pdf
If parents wish to provide further educational information to support this process, please use the LNPS Class Placement Guidelines.
Information or requests that do not meet the criteria outlined in the guidelines will not be taken into consideration.
Please email tyson.grinham428@schools.sa.edu.au or mirjana.grubor793@schools.sa.edu.au by Monday 28th October.
It is vital that requests are received by this date as teachers and leadership will begin collaborating in the early weeks of Term 4.
Families will be notified of their child's class placement on Monday 9th December.
Any requests after families are notified of their child's placement will not be considered.
Instrumental Music Program
Earlier this year we had to cease our instrumental music programs as we were utilising external providers and we were unable to meet the new DfE policies to continue.
We have been investigating ways to reintroduce instrumental music and we now have the opportunity to apply for the DfE Instrumental Music program for 2025.
There is a limit on the years level (3-6) that can participate, instrumentals available, minimum numbers and some additional costs to families
If you would be interested please email tyson.grinham428@schools.sa.edu.aufor further details.
Have a great holiday break, don't forget early dismissal this Friday at 2:10pm and we look forward to seeing everyone next term
