Melbourne Zoo Excursion

Last Wednesday the Foundation students headed off on their first ever excursion to Melbourne Zoo! The students were so excited to see all of the diverse animals and they continued to make meaningful connections to our central idea: 'Living things need energy to survive'. Our scavenger hunt was a highlight, as students joyfully discovered and checked off many fluffy, cute, huge, loud, land and water creatures. We are delighted to say that all students exceeded our expectations and displayed respectful and responsible behaviour while exploring the zoo. A huge shout-out and thank you to the parents who generously volunteered their time to accompany us. The weather was lovely… up until the very end. It was exciting to see hail, however the day was simply wonderful. Check out  some of the action from Melbourne Zoo!
