Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday

Marking the Beginning of Lent

This week, our school community came together to begin the season of Lent with reflection and generosity. On Shrove Tuesday, the Mary MacKillop group led a fantastic initiative, selling pancakes to raise funds for Caritas. Thanks to the generosity of our students, staff, and families, they raised an incredible $330 to support those in need.

The following day, we gathered as a whole school to celebrate Ash Wednesday at Mass. We received the ashes as a sign of our commitment to this sacred season, and Fr. Samuel invited us to turn our hearts back to God through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.

May this Lenten season be a time of renewal and grace for all.

Year 6 Confirmation

On Thursday, important information was shared with Year 6 families regarding the Sacrament of Confirmation which covered key details, including: The meaning and significance of Confirmation, the role of the sponsor, choosing a Confirmation name, important dates to add to your diary, prerequisites for receiving the sacrament and how to prepare your Confirmation stole.

Families are encouraged to review the information provided through Seesaw and begin preparing for this special journey of faith.

Please use the following School Interviews link and code to register your child for the Sacrament of Confirmation:

SACRED HEART CAMP PROGRAM

Prep Breakfast

A Special Start to the Day!

As part of our camp program at Sacred Heart, our Prep students had a wonderful experience at their Prep Breakfast! Arriving at school early in their cozy pyjamas, they enjoyed a lovely breakfast together, learning important routines like washing their dishes and brushing their teeth after their meal.

It was a fantastic way to build independence, have fun, and share a special morning with friends. Well done to our Preps for their enthusiasm and to our staff for making it such a memorable experience!
