At the heart of our GEM Chats is the focus on building resilience through meaningful conversations. These chats provide students with the opportunity to reflect on and share their experiences, while emphasising the importance of Gratitude. By taking time to express thanks for the positive aspects of their day, students cultivate a sense of appreciation and perspective that strengthens their emotional resilience. Encouraging gratitude in these discussions helps students develop a positive mindset, which can be a powerful tool in overcoming challenges and building a supportive community. We encourage families to make this a regular part of their routine, creating an opportunity for everyone to reflect on the good in their lives and foster connection at home.
